So very pretty and silky to the touch. I love these things.

The company is called Moo Go check them out, and their prices are nice too.

Had a terrible migraine and was out of commission again. I am getting another art day (day off) on Thur and hope to work on my mural some. Wed I have lofty hopes of cleaning my apartment and doing some major re-arranging. Keep posted and I'll let you know how it all works out. I have so many lists to write OMG hehe

Bewtter Photos of the Progress

Almost finished them.  It is now up to my Mom to do the finishing touches. here is the house she made. So sweet!

I love making bottle diaramas, but I feel they never quite come out like I think they will.
I am pretty happy with them.  I cannot wait to see how they look when they are finished!

Progress

Here they are so far. Still needs a little work, but I am almost out of time.

Here was where I started at around 10:30.

Painting the details.

Almost ready to put in the jar.

Launching

Here I am at Corner Coffee, making lists, eating beagles, drinking caffeine, and revving myself up to work like a crazy person at the Art Clinic.

I wanted to do some quick entries in my journal, but I am feeling too much pressure to get going. Oooo look I added a sticker! Lol

I am sure some might think I am procrastinating by blogging. No. This is all part of the revving and it is very important to organize my thoughts before I hit it. So ... Here I go! Keep posted I will be putting progress updates throughout the day. Wish me luck!

Short Walk to Lunch

Walking to Garrett's for an avocado cheese burger and fries. Mmm mmm mmm.

It had rained no more than 30 min ago and then on my walk the sun was shining bright making it look like everyone had just hosed down their sidewalks.

Pretty clover just coming up looks like perfect little green hearts. Awe.

If I look the other way I will see large black ominous clouds slowly rolling in for more water works.

Here is a house my mother made for our piece. The studio leaked and almost flooded. There was some wrecked art, but it could have been worse.

Yay! I found Some Studio Time

Kinda funny the way it worked out, but the important thing is that I got all the paper mâché I needed to do done!

It had been a long time since I have done any paper mâché. I might have to find time to make more.

Here are some of the beginnings of the collaborative pieces my mom and I are doing.

3 shelves my Dad made for me that we are adding 3 mason jars full of 3D items. I am very excited about how these will turn out. I will be back on task Thur due to a ditch day from work. I will essentially need to finish them completely on Thur.

I got Mary's piece all papered up and ready for paint too. I need to finish up Madison's Birthday crown too. Monday she turns 3 OMG!!! Hehe

Went to the studio and pulled out a few things in preporation for paper mache projects I will hopfully be working on tomorrow afternoon (still crossing fingers) Whatever I can get done I will be finishing up on Thursday.  I am taking the day off my 9-5 job to get this collaboration piece real close to done.
I can really use the art therapy too, work has been busy for me.  It is a labor of love....kinda, but it really burns me out with these intense bursts of side projects, then I get behind in my other projects....sigh.  I will never be caught up hehe

Mmmm Tea

This tea smells so dang good! I should be in bed but I started a moo order like a silly.

I love my Silver Bean mug. I so hope to get dome good progress on Sunday. Cross your fingers for me.

Got Some Barrettes Finished

I love this fabric at Knit Fit!

I cannot wait to get back to work on some journals so I have a reason to buy some.

I am also reminded of a quilt I want to start on. Once I get some squares started I can bring it in to see what I need to make it look good.

Here are some of the barrettes I finally finished and photoed.

I want to get pictures of my daughter wearing them.

She is such a beautiful model.

We have decided that Ellen's in Buellton is the best breakfast in town! And the service is always good. They are so patient with my baby.

I had hoped to work on the mural and keep forgetting about me and my Mom's collaborative pieces that need to be started. Sigh! Next weekend?

Sun Sun Sun!

Finally a bit of sun. I am sitting at Kahuna about to have a yummy lunch. After which I will be heading to to Farmer's Market for some good things.

A little bird joined me awe!

Awesome!!

At the Asian Market last weekend I was reminded that Spring was almost here! Time to whip out some pink.

I have an icky icky cough today. If it gets worse I will not make it to work tomorrow. It also cuts into my project energy at night. I still have barrettes to sew! Maybe some sweet peas from the market here will totally cure me. I have so many ideas I need to organize too! C'mon white blood cells do your stuff and make me well!

Little Italy

Nice solo breakfast at the B and B I stayed at.

Nice spread. Wish I had had more time to savor and enjoy this sleepy little place.

Had an awesome coffee drink at the Influx in town while trying to soak in some atmosphere.

Got a little sketching in. Always nice. Realizing I need/ want a new journal. I need more white pages.

Still recovering from my trip. I hope to be able to get back to some art work soon. It is almost too late to finish these shamrock barrettes. That is my next priority. That and the mural.... And I need to update my calendar and set some goals. Etc etc.....
